Initiative aimed at fostering the production and export of sustainable cocoa in Brazil

With shared governance and active participation from supporters, producers, families, and the entire community, we are a movement that collaborates, contributes, and co-creates ways to promote Brazilian cocoa farming.

Representing organizations from the cocoa supply chain have come together to highlight the sector's unique qualities and competitive potential, focusing on sustainable production, productive inclusion, and value generation.

As a result of this collective effort, Brazilian Cocoa – People, Forest and Culture was born—an initiative that strengthens sustainable production and broadens the global recognition of Brazilian cocoa.

Manifesto

New beginnings lay inside our cocoa.

The possibility for stories to continue.

The whole of it in each bean: past, present, culture.

It starts underground,

in the middle of the edible forest,

and grows whole new families.

The ones who cabruca, know it well.

The Brazilian cocoa cultivation is regenerative:

protects soils, diversifies biomes, and amplifies ecosystems.

It all happens in a collective and interdependent motion: the nature, the cocoa and the people.

We are here to showcase this to the world.

We are not the biggest, but we want to be among the best.

The path started long before us. And with each new day, it begins again.
