networks
that Arapyaú has helped incubate and strengthen

Collaboration is in our DNA. Through partnerships with diverse actors, various initiatives are created and nurtured within the Arapyaú ecosystem, where they can grow, strengthen, and eventually take flight, leaving their impact on society and the planet.

Forest Peoples Connection

A project aimed at connecting 1 million people in a network, living in more than 8,000 forest community settlements, who contribute to the preservation of 120 million hectares in the Legal Amazon. Internet access acts as a catalyst for territorial protection and the social and economic development of these populations. The initiative is led by three grassroots organizations: the National Coordination of Articulation of Black Rural Quilombola Communities (Conaq), the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon (Coiab), and the National Council of Extractive Populations (CNS), in partnership with over 40 civil society organizations.
