Tabôa Community Reinforcement

Entrepreneurs, community leaders and residents of Serra Grande, Uruçuca, Ilhéus and Itacaré are transforming their reality with support from the organization Tabôa Fortalecimento Comunitário. Tabôa is a community foundation that offers credit and training to small entrepreneurs, incubation for new businesses and support for socioenvironmental projects chosen by the community. Its mission is to strengthen communities in the south of Bahia through access to knowledge, funding and stimuli for cooperation.

In 2018 and 2019, Tabôa was selected as one of the best NGOs in Brazil by the Instituto Doar.
