Commitment to Public Education Plan

Without quality public education there is no way to guarantee a prosperous future. This is why we seek to improve student learning, teacher training and resource management for the Cocoa Coast education departments.

The pilot project is in place in a partnership with the local governments of Uruçuca and Una. Municipal school principals, educational coordinators, teachers and parents have participated in building the Commitment to Education Plan. The targets include improving learning performance in Portuguese and Mathematics and decreasing drop out rates.
